How can I access my TVR 350SE's key code to program new keys?

Hello! We've developed a VIN-based tool to help you get your key code for the TVR 350SE. Check it out here: VIN Key Code Generator.

Can confirm it worked for my 2013 TVR 350SE.

I’m also looking for how to retrieve the key code on a TVR 350SE.

Dealer wants too much just to reset my TVR 350SE. Trying this instead.

🔑 Car Key & Fob FAQ

Common questions about key programming, fob issues, and replacement options

Security Systems
A flashing security light often indicates an immobilizer issue. Solid light suggests the system is armed but not recognizing your key. Causes: faulty key chip, damaged antenna ring, low battery, or system needs reprogramming.
Key Tip: Store your key code separately from your keys
Key Programming
Most transponder keys and smart keys can be reprogrammed if they haven't been damaged. Basic mechanical-only keys (no chip) can't be reprogrammed - they must be physically cut to match your locks.
Lost Keys
1) Contact a locksmith who specializes in automotive keys or your dealership 2) Provide proof of ownership (registration, title, ID) 3) They'll either cut new keys by code or reprogram your car's system 4) This is expensive ($200-$800) as the immobilizer may need resetting.
Key Fob Issues
This typically indicates: weak fob battery (replace first), damaged fob antenna, or issues with your car's receiver (often in the door handle or rearview mirror). Environmental interference from other electronics can also reduce range.
Key Fob Issues
1) Find the seam and pry open the fob (some have tiny screws) 2) Note battery orientation 3) Remove old battery (CR2032 is most common) 4) Insert new battery 5) Reassemble. Test all buttons - if issues remain, the fob may need reprogramming.
Key Tip: Avoid exposing key fobs to water or extreme temperatures
Key Fact: Some insurance policies offer key replacement coverage
