Following this for my Triumph Daytona 650. Please update if it works!

My Triumph Daytona 650 might finally get back on the road thanks to this.

Does anyone know if this works on push-start Triumph Daytona 650s?

Will this work for older Triumph Daytona 650s? Mine's a 2009.

If this works for my Triumph Daytona 650, I owe you big time.

Has anyone gotten this method to work on a Triumph Daytona 650 before?

🔑 Car Key & Fob FAQ

Common questions about key programming, fob issues, and replacement options

Key Fob Issues
Common causes: dead battery (most common), water damage, internal circuit damage, or the fob lost synchronization with your car. Try replacing the battery first. If that doesn't help, the fob may need reprogramming or replacement.
Key Tip: Keep spare keys in a faraday bag to prevent signal amplification theft
Key Programming
Common reasons: wrong key type for your vehicle, anti-theft system needs reset, low car battery voltage during programming, or the key isn't properly synced. Some cars also have programming limits (only 2-4 keys can be registered).
Key Fob Issues
This typically indicates: weak fob battery (replace first), damaged fob antenna, or issues with your car's receiver (often in the door handle or rearview mirror). Environmental interference from other electronics can also reduce range.
Lost Keys
1) Contact a locksmith who specializes in automotive keys or your dealership 2) Provide proof of ownership (registration, title, ID) 3) They'll either cut new keys by code or reprogram your car's system 4) This is expensive ($200-$800) as the immobilizer may need resetting.
Key Tip: Keep spare keys in a faraday bag to prevent signal amplification theft
Lost Keys
Locksmiths or dealers can: 1) Decode your door or ignition lock to determine key cuts 2) Access your car's key code through manufacturer databases (with proof of ownership) 3) Program new transponder keys using diagnostic equipment.
Key Fact: Some luxury car keys can cost $800+ to replace at dealerships
