Will this work for older Porsche Carrera 2 S Cabriolets? Mine's a 2009.

Fingers crossed this works for my Porsche Carrera 2 S Cabriolet too.

Same issue here with my Porsche Carrera 2 S Cabriolet, let me know if it works.

I tried this with my Porsche Carrera 2 S Cabriolet but still no luck. Any suggestions?

My Porsche Carrera 2 S Cabriolet won’t budge without the code. Hoping this helps.

🔑 Car Key & Fob FAQ

Common questions about key programming, fob issues, and replacement options

Key Fob Issues
1) Find the seam and pry open the fob (some have tiny screws) 2) Note battery orientation 3) Remove old battery (CR2032 is most common) 4) Insert new battery 5) Reassemble. Test all buttons - if issues remain, the fob may need reprogramming.
Key Tip: Newer cars often require dealer programming for first key replacement
Key Fob Issues
Sometimes. Broken buttons can often be fixed by cleaning or replacing the button pad. Cracked cases can be glued. However, water damage or circuit board issues usually require complete fob replacement. Reprogramming is still needed for replacement fobs.
Lost Keys
Dealerships can often cut keys using your VIN, but will require proof of ownership. This only works for original factory keys - aftermarket or previously replaced locks won't match. The key will still need programming to start the car if it has a transponder.
Key Tip: Newer cars often require dealer programming for first key replacement
Lost Keys
1) Contact a locksmith who specializes in automotive keys or your dealership 2) Provide proof of ownership (registration, title, ID) 3) They'll either cut new keys by code or reprogram your car's system 4) This is expensive ($200-$800) as the immobilizer may need resetting.
