Been here before with my BMW 323i. Let’s see if this one works.

My BMW 323i refuses to start. Could be the key code—trying this fix.

My BMW 323i might finally get back on the road thanks to this.

Will this work for older BMW 323is? Mine's a 2009.

I’m in the same boat with my BMW 323i. This looks promising.

🔑 Car Key & Fob FAQ

Common questions about key programming, fob issues, and replacement options

Key Fob Issues
Sometimes. Broken buttons can often be fixed by cleaning or replacing the button pad. Cracked cases can be glued. However, water damage or circuit board issues usually require complete fob replacement. Reprogramming is still needed for replacement fobs.
Key Tip: Replace key fob batteries every 1-2 years as preventative maintenance
Lost Keys
Dealerships can often cut keys using your VIN, but will require proof of ownership. This only works for original factory keys - aftermarket or previously replaced locks won't match. The key will still need programming to start the car if it has a transponder.
Key Tip: Keep spare keys in a faraday bag to prevent signal amplification theft
Key Fob Issues
1) Find the seam and pry open the fob (some have tiny screws) 2) Note battery orientation 3) Remove old battery (CR2032 is most common) 4) Insert new battery 5) Reassemble. Test all buttons - if issues remain, the fob may need reprogramming.
